Bales College is a truly multicultural centre for education. We have a rich history of educating students from countries around the world and we place great emphasis on helping our students settle quickly into a new country and education system.
Around 20% of our sixth form students are international students, some of which live in home-stay accommodation organised by Bales.
We find that having a mixture of local and international students works very well, as each student gets to experience different cultures and our local students play an excellent role in helping international students settle and enjoy their time with us, while improving their grasp of the English language
Bales College aims to provide the best possible education to all students and is not selective on academic ability. We have students with a broad range of academic ability and our aim is to help each individual student achieve their maximum. All students will be pushed to maintain the highest achievable marks for them.
However, students must show a good attitude towards learning and education, which will help them fit into Bales College.
If you are a student from outside the EEA, you will likely need a Tier 4 Visa to study in the UK.
Bales College is licensed by the Home Office, UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), to enrol non-EEA students for GCSE and A Level courses.
We still have places available for Tier 4 Visa CASs for students starting in September and October 2018 (eg 1 or 2 year A Level course), or in January 2019 (eg 18 month or 6 month A Level course).
