WE WILL BE FULLY OPEN IN SEPTEMBER 2020

We are enrolling in all year groups for Sept 2020 – apply now

Bales is a small, flexible Independent School and Sixth Form College for ages 11-18. We accept UK and international students. Most of our students are local students and around 15% are international.

We are located in Kensal Rise W10 near to Ladbroke Grove, Queens Park, Maida Vale etc. The school is easily accessible on the Overground (Kensal Rise), Bakerloo (Kensal Green/Queens Park), and on many bus routes such as 18, 23, 52, 70, 228, 295, 316, 452.

Students join for Key Stage 3 years 7-9, GCSE courses in year 10 or 11, and A Level courses in year 12 or 13 and retakes over 1 year.

We accept students to enter in any year group.

We are currently accepting applications for Sept 2020. The school is open for visits and interviews now (with social distancing!).

At Bales, we value the individual’s potential and put all our efforts into achieving academic success.

A significant part of the key to success is that students get full support from teachers and work in an orderly and disciplined environment. At the same time, they are encouraged to develop their own independent working patterns. The Bales student is hard-working, aspirational, organised and independent. To achieve and maintain this requires continuous support from well-qualified teachers.

Students need wider opportunities to support their learning in the classroom. To that end, we have annual residential trips, visits to venues in and around London and we bring in visiting speakers whose expertise covers a range of interests.
