School Counsellor

This is an exciting opportunity to set up and deliver the a counselling service to students in this small private college in London. Additionally the candidate will take a lead on providing additional support through facilitated group work with students to help prepare them for
Applicants must be qualified counsellors/therapists and be BACP Registered or Accredited, or registered with another recognised professional body (e.g. HPC, UKCP).
Applicants must be experienced working with a variety of issues such as depression, suicidal feelings, anxiety, bereavement, stress. Experience with CORE forms is a necessity, as is the ability to produce regular management reports for the senior staff. Presentation skills are a necessity in order to brief staff and parents on the new offering, as well as build relationships within this close knit community.
