This is an exciting opportunity to set up and deliver the a counselling service to students in this small private college in London. Additionally the candidate will take a lead on providing additional support through facilitated group work with students to help prepare them for

Applicants must be qualified counsellors/therapists and be BACP Registered or Accredited, or registered with another recognised professional body (e.g. HPC, UKCP).

Applicants must be experienced working with a variety of issues such as depression, suicidal feelings, anxiety, bereavement, stress. Experience with CORE forms is a necessity, as is the ability to produce regular management reports for the senior staff. Presentation skills are a necessity in order to brief staff and parents on the new offering, as well as build relationships within this close knit community.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate the ability (through experience and qualifications) to design workshops, as well as the ability to work with young people from 11-18. Experience in an educational setting is also a necessity.
